The awards segment of the African Power Conference and Awards are designed to identify and publicly recognize the most capable, accomplished and consequently respected private enterprises, public institutions and individual entrepreneurs corporate executives and professionals in Africa’s power industry, taken from a holistic view and thus encompassing electricity generation, transmission and distribution; the supply of oil and gas products, both upstream and downstream, for power generation in all its forms – for grid electricity, for direct use by industries and for powering transport - and the various forms of renewable energy all inclusive.
